Synthesis and Transformations of 20-Isoxazolyl Steroids with Modified Ring D: II. Synthesis of 16α-Acetoxy Derivatives

Abstract

A procedure was developed for preparation of compounds of the cholestane and 26,27-dinorcholestane series with 16-acetoxy-substited ring D and functionalized side chain, starting from 16α,17α-epoxypregnenolone.
