Modernization of the BP-260-V Bobbin-Rewinding Machine

Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

Modernization of the design of the bobbin creel (position of the input packs at an angle to the horizontal) allows rewinding fibres of increased length from the packs (from two-flange spools or ISO cops 420 mm long). Decreasing the linear winding speed from 600 to 500 m/min while keeping its variable-constant speed allows rewinding fibres of high linear density. The change in the design of the fibre tension device allows preserving uniform fibre tension in winding into the output pack. The size of the balloon in winding the fibre from the input pack is preserved; if necessary, the size of the balloon can be changed by changing the position of the balloon limiter in the working zone.
