Materials Science Aims and scope

Abstract

We analyze the existing methods for the determination of physical constants of porous media saturated with liquids based on static and quasistatic methods of measurements with regard for the initial stresses in the material. On the basis of the experimental data available from the literature, we determine various unknown parameters for typical porous media.
