Summary of Session 1: Fundamental Processes in Space Physics from Macroscopic to Microscopic Scales

Abstract

I present a rapid overview of the first session of the conference, during which have been discussed basic astrophysical phenomena covering a wide range of spatial scales, as well as several level of descriptions from the macroscopic MHD level, to the microphysics of wave particle interactions.
