Atomic Energy Aims and scope

Abstract

A method is described for suppressing xenon oscillations of the vertical distribution of energy release in VVÉR-1000 by maintaining an instantaneous offset in accordance with the instantaneous vertical distribution of xenon nuclei along the reactor core. Computational examples of the suppression of oscillations are presented. 2 figures, 3 references.
