Electrode Potential on the Boundary of a Medium in an Elliptic Notch Made in a Stressed Conducting Body

  • Published:
Materials Science Aims and scope

Abstract

We determine the dependences of the distribution of the electrode potential along the contour of a medium-filled elliptic defect in a stressed conducting body on the physical and chemical characteristics of the material and medium and the relations between the geometric parameters of the defect. We also indicate the points of separation of the anode and cathode zones on the contour of the defect.
