Abstract

A new approach to solving a two-dimensional problem for an orthotropic multiply connected plate is proposed in place of the standard approach which reduces the problem to integrating a fourth-order differential equation. The new method reduces the problem to integrating second-order differential equations that can be solved successively using a perturbation technique.
