Abstract
Mathematical and natural modelling is performed for direct axisymmetric extrusion of bars from uncompacted metal billets. In the course of mathematical modelling optimum production parameters are determined for extrusion providing extruded bars with minimum porosity, and a procedure is established for predicting the residual porosity of articles. Comparison of the results obtained points to the possibility of practical application of the mathematical models.
