Stationary Stressed State of a Multiply Connected Rectangular Isotropic Cylinder

Abstract

The theory of complex variables is used to construct an approximate solution for the stationary vibrations of an isotropic rectangular cylinder with longitudinal curvilinear cavities. Numerical calculations are presented for a cylinder with one elliptical cavity.
