Abstract
Requirements are established and methods are found for checking the errors of instruments used to measure the root-mean-square (rms) value of non-sinusoidal vibrations. Recommendations are given on simplifying and improving the reliability of the method which is used to evaluate the rms measurement error for vibrations with a normalized amplitude coefficient.
