Scattering by a Horn Antenna Containing a Metal–Insulator–Metal Contact

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

Scattering is considered from theory and experiment for a horn containing a metal–insulator–metal contact having a nonlinear voltage–current characteristic as occurring at harmonics of the incident field. Effects are considered for the electromagnetic interference due to that scattering as regards the electromagnetic compatibility. Suggestions are made on eliminating the secondary emission at harmonics.
