Method of Measuring the Mass Discharge and Consistency of a Flow Carrying A Suspension

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

A method is developed for determining the mass discharge and consistency of a pipe flow carrying a suspension under pressure. Mass discharge and consistency are determined by using readings of the power used by the hydraulic dredger which moves the flow.
