Abstract
We obtain formulas describing the point median Bayesian prediction with allowance for symmetric loss functions as well as the interval prediction of the screening and limiting frequencies of the Es layer in the case where various information on their current values is available. The predictions are compared with experimental data obtained by vertical-sounding facilities.
