Abstract

Crystal-chemical analysis has been performed on layered perovskite-like structures with (A1+C1) binary stacks, which are combinations of anionic octahedra with halves of degenerate octahedra (semioctahedra). Crystal data are reported for 56 possible prephases, of which 54 are new ones. Recommendations for syntheses of new compounds are given.
