Sediment Suspension by Irregular Waves above a Wavy Bed

Abstract

The results of field studies of time variations in the concentration of suspended sediment above a wavy bed under the conditions of irregular waves are considered. A simple procedure is proposed for predicting this concentration based on an advection–diffusion model and field observational data.
