Abstract

A degenerate problem of analytical design of optimal controllers is studied. For a nonlinear object and nonclassical functional with affine controls, necessary and sufficient conditions of local optimality are formulated. These conditions are useful in identifying a class of objects with singularities in minimizing the generalized work functional. An example is given.
