Integration of Hardware and Software Platforms in Creating Manufacturing Computer Systems

An approach to the choice of an optimum combination of hardware and software platforms as a basis of a computer system is proposed. The procedures of choice and estimation criteria proposed are oriented towards the implementation in the form of a "business logic" algorithm embedded into an interactive information support system.
