Abstract
The finite difference method is employed to solve three-dimensional equations of nonstationary convective diffusion for blank-ion concentrations. To correctly calculate the current density at the edge of a round electrode, the coordinate system of an oblate ellipsoid is applied. Kinetic boundary conditions valid for a redox reaction form at the surface of the sensor electrode.
