A description of the quantised nonlinearinterferometer

Abstract

A formalism is presented which describes in an elegant way the general output field of the nonlinear interferometer as two-mode entangled coherent states. We also show that entangled coherent states can also be produced for product coherent states without the need for the interferometric configuration.
