Abstract
The diagnostic of eruptive prominences needs the development of new tools. Here we propose the Lyman and Balmer lines of hydrogen, which are important in the radiative budget. In the NLTE radiative transfer calculations, we include the effect of the outward motion of the structure associated with the eruption of the prominence. The treatment of the resonance scattering of Lα and Lβ with partial redistribution gives higher intensities, and a higher ionization than the complete redistribution, but the two approaches converge to the same solution as the velocity increases. As a first step in the diagnostic, we present new results concerning the variation of the integrated intensities of hydrogen lines with respect to the radial velocity.
