Colorimetry of Ion-Plasma Protective-Decorative Coatings

Abstract

On the basis of recommendations of the Commision Internationale de L'Eclairage ∥CIE) an attempt has been made to construct a logically consistent system of attesting the color of protective-decorative coatings formed by ion-plasma techniques. An algorithm of data translation from the CIE system to the specifications of the color atlases used in Russia, the USA, Germany, and the UK has been realized.
