Abstract

Thiophene adsorption on γ-Al2O3, hydrated titanium dioxide, and Mo-containing catalysts on these supports is studied by IR spectroscopy. The form of adsorbed thiophene and the composition of surface species on the catalysts depend on the nature of support.
