Structure of the Products of the Oxidation of Diphenylamine, the First Member in a Family of Analytical Redox Reagents

Abstract

The structure of the product of diphenylamine oxidation in acid solutions was indirectly confirmed within a quantum-chemical approach based on extrapolation from molecular fragments to the molecule using the Pariser–Parr–Pople method.
