Structure and Properties of Mechanically Activated Barium Peroxide

Abstract

Data are presented on the structural properties, water solubility, and chemical reactivity of mechanically activated BaO2 . The lattice parameters of BaO2 are found to decrease markedly after mechanical activation for a certain time, which is accompanied by an appreciable increase in solubility and reactivity.
