Layered Superconductors in an External Magnetic Field

Abstract

Presence of localized magnetic moments and inhomogeneites leads to an unconventional behavior of the upper critical field for layered superconductors. In addition, one can observe a large diamagnetic moment at H τ Hc2 and in the normal resistive state.
