Abstract
A systematic account of the lepidopterous cereal stemborers in Africa is presented. The identification and distribution of the economically important species is discussed. Systematic problems are pointed out.

Une sommaire de la systématique des foreurs de tiges en Afrique est donnée. L’identification et la distribution des espèces d’une importance économique est discutées. Plusieurs problèmes systématiques restent à résoudre.
