Orange-Eye: A New Autosomal Recessive Mutant of Ephestia Cautella (Lepidoptera: Pyralydae)

A new eye colour mutant, “Orange eye (Or.)” is described for Ephestia caute lia, Baghdad strain. This mutation is inherited as an autosomal recessive mutant. Fecundity of the orange-eyed strain is significantly reduced while its viability is not affected.
