Abstract

It has been said that networking is one of the most important features of today's internationalization. This article presents an example of a Nordic venture into networking. It relates the story behind the founding of a Nordic Centre located at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, describes the activities of the centre and endeavours to see the centre also as being an instrument in the national and governmental policies for internationalization.
