Knie Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

This article describes the case of a combined posteromedial injury of the knee joint in a 50-year-old man. Arthroscopic and open exploration revealed a medial collateral ligament complex with complex proximal and distal injuries of the various anatomic parts. After anatomic refixation of the respective structures, the joint had gained sufficient stability to be eligible for a nonoperative treatment of the concomitant posterior cruciate ligament injury.
