Polymedikation, Immobilität, Malnutrition — viele Faktoren können im Alter ein Delir begünstigen. Für die multikausale Therapie ist neben der frühzeitigen Identifikation der Auslöser eine ruhige, auf die Bedürfnisse des Patienten ausgerichtete Umgebung essenziell.
