Zusammenfassung

Jugendliche sind bei der stationären Behandlung eine besondere Herausforderung für Pflegende: Geringere Zugänglichkeit für rationale Argumente aufgrund der kognitiven Entwicklung, die Suche nach der eignen Position in der Welt sowie damit einhergehende emotionale Schwankungen. Hinzu kommt die Einbeziehung der Eltern, die zumeist in großer Sorge sind. Für eine gute und professionelle Pflege in diesem Spannungsfeld bedarf es einer hohen fachlichen Expertise, Verständnis, Kreativität und Agilität bei den Pflegekräften.
