Zusammenfassung
Ziel dieses Literaturüberblicks war die Identifikation von Herausforderungen bei ACP-Anwendungen in Langzeitpflegeeinrichtungen. Eine systematische Literaturrecherche in den Datenbanken „PubMed“ und „CINAHL“ erfolgte in 2016. Herausforderungen sind das Erkennen des richtigen Zeitpunktes einer Initiierung von ACP, der Zeitmangel der Pflegepersonen, eine uneinheitliche Dokumentation, mangelndes Fachwissen der Pflegedienstleitung, fehlender ärztlicher Einbezug und mangelnde Kooperation mit anderen Einrichtungen. Weitere empirische Forschung im deutschsprachigen Raum wäre notwendig, da ACP ein relativ neues Handlungsfeld ist. Auch in Österreich wird über eine flächendeckende Implementierung von Advance Care Planing nachgedacht.
