This is the last issue of this journal edited by Michael Graff at KOF Swiss Economic Institute of ETH Zürich.
After having been the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Cycle Research (JBCY) and its predecessor Journal of Business Cycle Measurement and Analysis (JBCMA) since 2008, it is now time for a change. From 2021, a team of editors headed by Professor Marcelle Chauvet at the University of California Riverside will share the editorial responsibility. Along with this, the journal will move from two to three issues per year.
I wish Marcelle Chauvet success and the same gratification that I was able to experience throughout the last 13 years. I will continue to support the journal in the years to come as a member of the editorial board.
Finally, I would like to use this opportunity to thank the Centre for International Research on Economic Tendency Surveys (CIRET) for its support, to express my gratitude to the authors who considered this journal as an outlet of their research and last but not least to the hundreds of referees, whose voluntary efforts were essential to ensure the quality and integrity of the journal.
