Samenvatting

Sanne van Zwol is ic-verpleegkundige in Abu Dhabi, Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. ‘Abu waar? Dat dacht ik toen ik hoorde dat ze hier verpleegkundigen zochten. Mijn contract in het VUmc werd niet verlengd, er waren nérgens vacatures. Daarom keek ik over de grens. Ik dacht: als ik huis en haard verlaat, dan moet het ook een écht avontuur worden. Dus solliciteerde ik op deze baan.’
