Ine van Wijlen startte haar verpleegkundige loopbaan 40 jaar geleden op haar zeventiende jaar. Nu is ze docent Verpleegkunde en zit ze in het bestuur van Team KING, een stichting die fondsen werft voor onderzoek naar de genezing van kanker. Een ziekte waar ze in haar werk, maar ook persoonlijk mee te maken kreeg.
