Geslacht, leeftijd, ziekte, afkomst en vooral opleidingsniveau zijn mede bepalend voor de toegang tot palliatieve zorg én de tevredenheid daarover. Er is in Nederland duidelijk sprake van sociale ongelijkheid op dat vlak.
