This article has been retracted at the request of the corresponding author. The work reported in this article was performed when the corresponding author was a visiting scholar at CSIRO’s Data61. The authors do not have permission to use the data in Table 1, Table 2, Fig. 8, Fig. 9 and Fig. 10. In addition, the simulation cases of water and mud inrush disaster in the article were modelled through the DEM and SPH codes provided by CSIRO, but the use of these codes in the article has not been clearly indicated. All authors agree with this retraction.
