Abstract

Female urethral diverticulum is a relatively uncommon disease with diverse presentations. Occasionally malignancy can develop within the diverticulum. Due to their concealed location they may go unnoticed, only to present at an advanced stage. We report our experience with a lady with adenocarcinoma within a urethral diverticulum at presentation. The imaging capabilities of magnetic resonance imaging in accurately determining the extent of disease are emphasised.
