Exploring the Advancements in Physical Vapor Deposition Coating: A Review

Abstract

This review explores recent advancements in physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating techniques. PVD is a widely used method for depositing thin films onto various surfaces and is extensively utilized in industries such as electronics, optics, and aerospace. This review provides an overview of the basic principles of PVD and highlights the key advancements in the field, including novel materials, improved deposition techniques, and enhanced film properties. Furthermore, the review discusses the applications of PVD coatings in different industries, such as corrosion protection, wear resistance, and functional coatings. The aim of this review is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the recent developments in PVD coating technology and their potential impact on various industrial sectors.
