Prevention and Intervention of Depression in Asian-American Adolescents

Abstract

Depression is one of the most common psychological disorders experienced by adolescents. Research has shown depression rates are higher in Asian-American adolescents when compared to their European-American counterparts. This paper will investigate possible programs for preventing and responding to Asian-American youths’ depression through a three-tier model.
