Abstract
Diseases of the musculoskeletal system are the most frequent reason for lost working days in Germany. A risk assessment of physical loading is possible using kinesiological measurement methods in order to reduce the susceptibility of the musculoskeletal system to diseases with increasing age, to design ergonomic workplace arrangements and preventive or rehabilitative training measures.
