Sommario

Lo stato nutrizionale pre-gravidico e l’apporto di nutrienti in gravidanza possono condizionare decorso e esito della gravidanza. Nella gravidanza complicata da iperglicemia, la dieta deve garantire anche il mantenimento di adeguati livelli glicemici e rappresenta il cardine della gestione del diabete. Un’alimentazione equilibrata e l’eventuale supplementazione di micronutrienti diventano strumento essenziale per garantire un migliore controllo metabolico e per prevenire esiti materno-fetali negativi.
