Sommario
L’ambito nutrizionale vede delle differenze di genere importanti. La composizione corporea, i fabbisogni e il metabolismo energetici sono differenti nella donna rispetto all’uomo, così come sono tendenzialmente diversi i comportamenti alimentari. È diversa anche la prevalenza dei disturbi del comportamento alimentare e l’atteggiamento nei confronti dell’obesità. È diverso, infine, il ruolo che uomo e donna hanno assunto nei confronti della cucina (acquisto, conservazione, preparazione del cibo) con frequenti penalizzazioni del ruolo femminile, che invece è fondamentale per la trasmissione della cultura legata alla produzione agroalimentare, alla valorizzazione del cibo e delle preparazioni gastronomiche, alla conservazione degli alimenti, alla tutela dell’ambiente natura e della biodiversità.
