Disfunzione erettile nel paziente epatopatico

Sommario

Numerosi sono gli studi epidemiologici che hanno dimostrato l’esistenza di una correlazione tra disfunzione della sfera sessuale e patologie epatiche responsabili di danno cronico, tra cui si annoverano l’abuso alcolico, i virus epatitici (B, C e Delta) e le steatoepatiti non alcoliche. Scopo di questo articolo è illustrare i meccanismi fisiopatologici alla base della disfunzione sessuale nelle diverse epatopatie e le relative possibilità terapeutiche.
