Correction to: Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities
The following corrections to this article as originally published should be noted:
In the first sentence of the abstract, “non-Hispanic Whites, non-Hispanic Blacks, and Hispanics adults with diabetes” should read “non-Hispanic White, non-Hispanic Black, and Hispanic adults with diabetes”.
In the first sentence under the heading Data analysis, the word “weighting” should be deleted, so that the beginning of the sentence reads: “SAS version 9.4 was used to analyze all data with the CDC two-part weight methodology…”.
In the Results in the abstract, the p value for non-Hispanic Black should be “p < 0.01” rather than “p < 0.0001”.
Under the heading Smoking and HRQOL, the first set of reference citations in brackets is missing a comma. The citations should read: [8, 28, 34, 35].
In the footnotes to Table 2, “NA not available” should instead read “Note: CI confidence interval; p values based on ANOVA or the chi-square test”.
