    UT Dallas provides the ranking of departments based on the number of publications in academic journals. For the years 2018–2021, the Wharton School is ranked as number 1 based on the number of publications in Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, Marketing Science, and the Journal of Consumer Research. We note that since Management Science publishes a broad set of articles from many disciplines (and departments), not all of these are from Wharton Marketing, yet are included in the totals above. Without Management Science, Wharton has 36 articles published in this time period.
