UT Dallas provides the ranking of departments based on the number of publications in academic journals. For the years 2018–2021, the Wharton School is ranked as number 1 based on the number of publications in Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, Marketing Science, and the Journal of Consumer Research.
