Correction to: Ophthalmol Ther (2022) 11:701–710 https://doi.org/10.1007/s40123-022-00470-6

Following publication, the authors made it aware to the journal that IRB approval for this study was obtained retrospectively (16th November 2022), approximately one month after the authors began collecting the data and clinical records for this study.

Secondly, some data were published incorrectly in the final manuscript. The abstract states 78 eyes and 53 patients were included in the study. This should be 71 eyes of 43 patients as mentioned in the main text. Under the results section the manuscript stated, “At 1 year postoperatively, 154 eyes (90%) showed no change in CDVA, 12 eyes (7%) gained one line, and one eye (1%) gained two lines, while five eyes (3%) lost one line, but no eyes had lost more than one line.” This should instead be “At 1 year postoperatively, 29 eyes (58%) showed no change in CDVA, and 18 eyes (36%) gained one line, while 3 eyes (6%) lost one line, but no eyes had lost more than one line. The authors have confirmed that they feel this does not alter the conclusions of the manuscript.
