Challenges for Electric Mobility - Current Problems and Possible Solution Approaches

Climate-friendly and environmentally friendly electric mobility makes a contribution towards reducing greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions; this improves the air quality and lowers noise pollution - especially in urban areas - and reduces overall dependence on fossil fuels. In future, electric cars could even act as energy storage systems and balance out the power supply fluctuations associated with renewable energy sources. VDE | DKE sheds light on the legal challenges associated with electric mobility, especially from the point of view of data protection law, with the focus being on consumer protection.

Contract-based charging - status quo

Apart from range and charge time, key factors for the acceptance of electric mobility are primarily the expansion of the charging infrastructure and the standardization of the charging and payment models.
