Die frühen ATZ-Redakteure waren streitbarer, als heute in Redaktionen gemeinhin üblich. Auffallend ist eine Massierung von Gegendarstellungen, einstweiligen Verfügungen und den obligaten Erwiderungen durch die Schriftleitung zum Beispiel im Jahrgang 1926 der Auto-Technik.
