Gleich drei im Frühjahr im renommierten New England Journal of Medicine publizierten Studien zur interventionellen Therapie des ischämischen Schlaganfalls waren zu einem negativen Ergebnis gekommen. Dennoch glauben die Befürworter an eine Zukunft der endovaskulären Thrombektomie und hoffen, das zukünftig auch in Studien belegen zu können.
